This past weekend Cerrito Tropical B&B Hotel on Taboga Island in Panama hosted a group of guys down from Chicago on a long weekend vacation. Here for just a few days, they came on a Fishing Package to visit us at Cerrito for the day, and left with smiles and pounds of Sierra (Spanish Mackeral) filets. Arriving early morning, they came up for breakfast, then headed out fishing for a few hours. They had great success reeling in about 12 good sized fish.
After giving some away, and eating a fresh fish feast for lunch they packed up and headed back to Panama City for some night life to finish off their vacation.
“This day was great and that was the best food we have had in Panama – even better than the 5 star restaurant we ate at last night in the city. Thanks guys, we’ll be back! ” they said.
