Geocaching is a worldwide game for modern day treasure hunters.
Played using GPS devices, players can put a geocache site anywhere in the world, record its location using a GPS and post the pinpointed location online for others to find the treasure. Players share their treasure hunting experiences and photos online. Players often compete to find more treasure locations.
More information on how to get started can be found on the geocaching website.

It was our understanding at B&B Cerrito Tropical Hotel that there was also a geocache on top of Mt. Vigia near the Mirador. We had a television crew and an adventure travel journalist from Panama visit us for the day to find that one, but we cannot find reference to that cache anymore.
